1. General provisions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through the &LaVersa Chocolate online store.

When a customer purchases goods via the website, a distance contract is concluded in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including the Consumer Rights Protection Law and regulations governing distance contracts.

2. Placing an order

Product prices and descriptions are displayed next to each product.

To place an order:

  • Add products to the shopping cart

  • Fill in all required fields

  • Choose a delivery method

  • Review the total order amount

  • Complete payment to confirm the order

3. Payment terms

All prices are shown in EUR.

Payment is made via secure online payment methods available in the online store.
Personal payment data is processed by licensed payment service providers.

The purchase contract enters into force once payment has been successfully received.

If the order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, the customer will be informed and the paid amount will be refunded within 14 days.

4. Delivery

We deliver to countries within the European Union.

Orders are delivered using courier services or parcel terminals.
Delivery costs are displayed before order confirmation.

Estimated delivery time is 3–5 business days.
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 45 calendar days, with prior notice to the customer.

Any applicable customs duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

5. Right of withdrawal & returns

In accordance with Latvian consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to food products that are perishable or unsuitable for return for hygiene and safety reasons.

As our products are food items (chocolate dragées), returns are not accepted, except in cases where:

  • the product is defective,

  • damaged during delivery,

  • incorrect product was delivered,

  • or the product was expired prior to delivery.

6. Complaints and defective products

The seller is responsible for product defects existing at the time of delivery.

Customers must notify us of any issues within 2 months of discovering the defect by contacting: info@laversa-chocolate.com
If the defect is confirmed, the customer may request:

  • replacement of the product, or

  • a refund if replacement is not possible.

We will respond to complaints within 15 days.

7. Personal data processing

We process only the personal data required to fulfill orders (name, address, email, etc.).

Personal data may be shared with delivery service providers solely for delivery purposes.

If you have opted in to receive marketing communications, we may occasionally send updates or offers.

8. Dispute resolution

Any disputes shall first be resolved through mutual communication.

If no agreement is reached, disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

Consumers also have the right to submit disputes to:

  • the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia, or

  • EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
